Our Absolute team volunteered with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy in Greensboro August 28th-29th. Together with the MOM team, clinicians from around the area and other lab techs they served almost 1500 deserving patients with much needed dental work. Jon Hansel cooked the best NC BBQ and our team served more than 400 plates of food to volunteers and patients. What a great weekend of truly making a difference in people lives!
Carroll Street Park 815 Carroll St. Durham, NC 27701 ACF has organized more than 50 volunteers to spend over 500 volunteer hours to bring new life to Carroll Street Park. The park is across the street from the childhood home of Pauli Murray, a champion of civil and human rights work. Because of her work, ACF wanted to help restore life in the park and make it a point of pride where families and neighbors can gather. The revised park will also complement the restored Pauli Murray Center. ACF is installing a new basketball hoop, two grills, two pieces of adult fitness equipment, two bench swings, several benches and new landscaping. They are also refurbishing the existing picnic table and bench. The estimated cost of the project is $15,000. Conrad Rensburg and Drew Van Aarde, owners of Absolute Dental Lab in North Carolina and founders of the non-profit Absolute Care Foundation, have a passion for doing something bigger than simply creating exceptional dental prosthetics and ceramics. They believe as business owners they not only have a great opportunity, but also a responsibility to make a true difference in the lives of others. The Absolute team, combined with other small local businesses, make up the Absolute Care Foundation. The foundation inspires and motivates the Absolute team to believe in something greater than themselves. Through the foundation, employees, businesses, and volunteers can join together to make a real and lasting difference. The Absolute Care Foundation is changing people’s lives forever. 100% of all donations, time, services, and materials go directly to the community.
